World Cyber Games - WCG

WCG was an eye-opener! it's amazing that games can bring teenagers to a world platform. u shld really see the passion and engrossment these kids haf! but it's ironic - i saw this guy (say 15/16yrs old) wif his friends outside the convention hall after the competition. He must be one of the winners (he's got a medal hanging down his neck)

Conversation...
Guy: 怎么办啊?
Friends: 你明天上报子,就没有事了啦!

Wad i inferred...
Yes. Yes. He skipped sch. Come on la! Possessing the capability to outshine in a national competition, he should have have been matured enough to applied for sch leave prior to joining. the next time round, WCG shld require some sort of approval letter fr the sch to specify tat the student has taken leave.

Redbull sampling --->
deemed as a slack, brainless job.
To be exact, we're called 'mobile energisers
(it sure sound cheesy).
but fact is, it has exposed me to the different facets of people. u'll b surprised tat many professionals are sure cheapo. even b4 u can open ur mouth, they kept shaking their heads (of cos to express their rejection). Ha, just adopt the magic phrase "it's free!", it always work.

As a matter of fact, it's not that difficult to approach a stranger afterall. I don't deny that rejections can be pretty discouraging sometimes. but lesson here is: "if u've nv try, u'll nv know."
